Piano Solo

A symphonic-minimalist piano technique with strong references to Debussy’s “touch” and with a compositional approach close to a more intimate John Cage. It’s a great feeling, unsettling, engaging.

A few notes that know well which path to follow (and make us follow), it is necessary music, for the ears and the soul. A flow that no longer belongs to this world but which manages to fly very high above our destinies.

Roots Music

Damiano Davide’s pianism is introspective, minimal, delicate…

An intimately visionary musician among the most promising in the emerging Neapolitan scene.

Corriere del Mezzogiorno (Italy)

The “Piano Solo” concert explores every nuance of the instrument through Damiano Davide’s music, together with the music of other great contemporary composers like Arvo Part, Philip Glass, Ryuichi Sakamoto, Giovanni Sollima and more.

A lot of space is then given to what happens in the world of improvisation, starting from a folk tune or from ancient neapolitan tradition, choosing among some of the most beautiful melodies ever written.

The intimacy and strength of the instrument, the romanticism, the minimalism, the modern musical language, and folk elements are mixed together in an hour of music.
